Domain subscription
Domain subscription is one of the Subscription functions, and it is a function that allows you to stream the latest public posts of a specific domain (ActivityPub server such as Mastodon) to the home timeline and list by a mechanism different from follow. When targeting a server participating in a relay, it is virtually equivalent to the local timeline of the other party.
This is useful when you want to follow the entire community, such as when you move to Fedibird from a server that has been interacting with the local timeline.
As a specification limitation, even if you specify your own domain, you will not be subscribed. Usually, you can use the local timeline, but in Fedibird, There is no local timeline, so everyone can only subscribe to Account Subscription. Alternatively, it is possible to subscribe to fedibird.com from a server that supports the subscription function of domains other than Fedibird.
